That lovable, huggable bundle of white fluff is joining the parade as one of four new balloons during this year's holiday spectacular. Chris Buck, the Oscar winning director of Frozen, lended his artistic talents with this sketch below to help with the inspiration and creative style of the balloon.

Josh Gad also got in the fun with a photo op outside of the Walt Disney Animation Studios building in Burbank. In this USA Today piece, Josh is quoted saying “Having an Olaf balloon alongside Mickey, Elmo and Big Bird is a dream come true and something that, because (the parade’s) so storied and has such a long tradition, I now get to share with my own kids.” And rightfully so. The world has fallen in love with Olaf and he’s an extension of Gad’s personality.

This news also pairs up with the perfectly timed release of the new Disney•Pixar animated film Coco, which will debut the new 22-minute featurette “Olaf’s Frozen Adventure." In this new short, Anna and Elsa are trying to figure out what their holiday traditions are and realizing that they actually don’t have any they can think of. This sparks Olaf to go on a fun filled adventure across Arendelle to find some of the best holiday traditions the kingdom has to offer, ensuring that his friends have the most magical Christmas ever! You can watch the official trailer below.

Be sure to catch all the fun when the 91st annual parade airs Thanksgiving morning on NBC at 9am.
