Beginning November 19th, Gaylord Palms will be turning on the twinkling lights and starting their holiday celebration. With all of the shows, events, and activities they have to choose from, we thought we would put together a list of the best ways to celebrate Christmas at Gaylord Palms.
Mission: Save Christmas featuring Elf
Bye Buddy! Hope you find your dad!
Even though ICE has not returned, Gaylord palms is still bringing the magic with their newest holiday exhibit. Mission: Save Christmas featuring Elf, will be the first time this Christmas that you get to jump into Buddy’s World. Team-up with Mr. Narwhal and friends in the candy cane forest, stay ahead of the toy quota in the North Pole, prepare for Santa's arrival at the iconic department store, and take part in an epic virtual snowball fight in Central Park. This is a great, family friendly, exhibit for all ages and will through you right into the holiday spirit. Make sure you have your camera ready!
Snow Factory
The snow factory is a great experience for children with multiple attractions including the Snow Flow Mountain, which is where you will slide through factory conveyor belts that have frozen solid and ride tubes down a thrilling plummet slide or hilly ice coaster. Another great attraction at the Snow Factory is the Snowball Build and Blast. This is where you build and toss real snowballs at targets to boost the power of the snowmaking machines. Even though these are geared for children, it is still fun for everyone.
Cirque: Spirit of Christmas
One of the many amazing shows that will be at Gaylord Palms is Cirque: Spirit of Christmas. This show is new to Gaylord and features dazzling acrobatics, feats of flexibility, and high-flying stunts. This Broadway-style spectacle centers around Noel, a child dismayed and distressed by the hustle and bustle of the holidays. Trying to recapture her lost love of the season, the child is visited by spirits who bring back the true meaning of the season in energetic, dreamlike chapters.
On top of all of these amazing experiences, it is always nice to grab a cup of hot chocolate, walk the market square, watch the Shine Light Show, and check out the more than 100 Christmas trees that will be across the property. Whatever you are looking to do, Gaylord Palms has it for you!
