Disney has announced some great dining options coming to Walt Disney World and have recently touched up on those announcements with some juicy details. Since our favorite thing to do is eat, we thought we’d break it down for you guys and go over the new developments.
Round Up Rodeo BBQ Restaurant
That’s right - there’s finally an indoor eatery coming to Toy Story Land! Rather than being stuck eating a grilled cheese and soup at Andy’s Lunchbox, guests will now have an alternative option of enjoying some eats at this brand new location at Toy Story Land in Hollywood Studios. Inside, the location will look as if three cardboard boxes were taped together to make this environment filled with toys of the rodeo kind.
Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue
There’s a brand new fast-casual restaurant coming to Epcot right before the year ends in late December 2019. You’ll find this new spot in the American Pavilion with the scent of fresh-cooked barbecue wafting through the air from a smoker located in the center of the dining area. The environment will mimic the classic American backyard barbecue and will offer traditional bbq eats as well as some new twists on favorites.
Space 220 Restaurant
We couldn’t be more thrilled for this new dining experience in Epcot! With its future location right next to Mission: SPACE, guests will be able feel as if they are soaring high above Orlando and into the atmosphere to enjoy an out of this world dining experience. When you enter the restaurant, you will step into a special space elevator and take it all the way up to the space station suspended in orbit. As you walk in, you will find yourself surrounded by a spinning wall of fresh produce that will help to mimic earth’s gravity and give you a good preview of all of the fresh ingredients you’ll be enjoying. With it’s space station environment, guests will be surrounded by a real-time celestial panorama of both daytime and nighttime views of Earth while they dine.
Ample Hills Creamery at Disney Springs
The popular ice cream experience at the Boardwalk Resort is making its way to Disney Springs! Ample Hills Creamery has an old-fashioned 50’s feel that will give you a nice dose of nostalgia right before you dig into all of the delectable ice cream options that they have on the menu. From flavors like Ooey Gooey Butter Cake ice cream made from St. Louis butter cake and globs of sour cream to Sweet as Honey ice cream made from house-made honeycomb candy, there is truly a flavor out there for everyone.
Beatrix Neighborhood Restaurant
Those of you looking for a light bite to eat will appreciate the healthy and fresh options at Beatrix Neighborhood Restaurant coming soon to Disney Springs. Here you will be able to find a lot of healthy options for vegans, vegetarians, gluten-free, and meat eaters alike. The restaurant boasts to be a blend of healthy comfort foods.
City Works Eatery and Pour Works
Located right next to the NBA Experience at Disney Springs will be the City Works Eatery. This already popular chain of restaurants will feature classic American foods for both lunch and dinner, 90+ variety of both local and global beers on tap, and gigantic high definition TVs. This should be a great place to watch the playoffs!
Which experience are you most excited for? Honestly, we’re ready for Andy to get some indoor seating out of the hot sun of Toy Story Land! We know that the Round Up Rodeo BBQ will be a hit this year and can’t wait to see how that looks in person!
