Super Bowl LIV MVP Patrick Mahomes and Make-A-Wish’s Nathaniel will be in a Walt Disney World Parade Today

Everyone who watched Super Bowl LIV last night knows that the Kansas City Chiefs dominated the game with an amazing win that took fans for a wild ride. At only 24 years old, Patrick Mahomes was able to lead the Kansas City Chiefs to their 31-20 victory and of course celebrated with that classic line “I’m going to Disney World!”

It has apparently always been a dream of his to say this line as he tweeted “I bet it feels amazing to be the quarterback who says, “I’m going to Disney World” after winning the Super Bowl” back in 2013 when he was just 18 years old and in high school! Dreams really do come true if you work real hard each and every day.

The MVP will mark his arrival with thousands of fans lining the parade route and you can be part of the action. Our friends at the Disney Parks Blog will be hosting a SUPER sized  livestream of the parade that’s set to begin at approximately 2:40 p.m. ET.

For the first time ever, Disney will be inviting along a Make-A-Wish child named Nathaniel from Texas to ride along in the celebratory parade with Mahomes. In addition, Disney will be extending the wishes of 17 other Make-A-Wish children who only asked to see the Super Bowl and bringing them to Magic Kingdom to ride some classic park attractions and have some fun at the park. What a treat!

To make everything even more magical, Disney will be donating $1 Million to Make-A-Wish in honor of Mahomes’ amazing MVP performance. Disney has always been a company dedicated to making children with serious illnesses more comfortable and inspired with the Make-A-Wish Foundation for more than 40 years. With that dedication, they have been able to make more than 10,000 wishes come true each and every year.
