Significant destruction took place along the route of the Walt Disney World Railroad, specifically at the switch track where the main line meets the roundhouse spur line.
As you can see in the video, there's some obvious damage that's visible from the Fantasyland Station inside Storybook Circus. The railroad isn't the only attraction who suffered a debilitating fate, the Jungle Cruise is also closed for at least a week due to the impact from fallen debris that has completely blocked the "backside of water" Schweitzer Falls. Disney's Ft. Wilderness Resort & Campgrounds is also closed indefinitely since the damage there was worse than anticipated.
At this time there's no estimate on when the steam trains will be making their grand circle tours around the Magic Kingdom. With the amount of fallen trees that need to be cleared followed bys the inspections of the rails, expect the railroad to be down for a few days. We'll be sharing more updates as soon as they become available.
